This Privacy Policy is strictly designed to comply with Google Play and Apple App Store developer requirements, as well as international data protection regulations (GDPR & CCPA). This policy applies to all users of the UroConsul application to ensure a secure, transparent, and reliable health assessment and guidance environment. UroConsul is a health assessment and self-guided guidance platform intended solely to support personal health evaluation and general guidance. UroConsul does not provide professional consultations, does not diagnose conditions, and does not act as a remote care portal.

2. Types of Data We Collect

Personal Identity: Name, email address, gender, age, profile photo, country code, and time zone.
Wellness Profile Information: Health-related lifestyle inputs, chronic health indicators, surgical history, allergies, family health history, neurological indicators, lumbar history, smoking status, symptom descriptions, wellness questionnaire responses, attached files, informational notes, current medications, and lab reference data. All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit.
Technical & Device Data: IP address, device identifiers (Android ID / IDFV), application ID, and version 1.0.0.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your information solely to deliver and improve the UroConsul guidance platform. Specific purposes include:

Delivering personalized health assessment and guidance content.
Facilitating secure access to the platform's assessment and guidance modules.Ensuring the safety, integrity, and academic accuracy of the educational information provided.
Processing payments securely via certified third-party payment gateways.

Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

4. International Data Transfers

As a globally accessible health assessment and guidance platform, your data may be stored and processed on secure cloud servers located in various regions worldwide. We ensure all cross-border data transfers are protected by end-to-end encryption and governed by international data protection standards, including GDPR-compliant Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

5. Security & Encryption

We implement industry-leading security measures, including end-to-end encryption (AES-256), secure cloud storage, and access controls. Your health assessment and guidance profile data is accessible only to you and authorized UroConsul platform administration — never to third-party advertisers or unaffiliated parties.

6. Data Sharing & Financial Safety

We never sell your personal data and never share it with advertisers. Data is shared only with the essential service providers required to operate the platform: Supabase (secure cloud backend), Google Firebase (push notifications), PayPal (payment processing), and Google Play (payment processing). Your financial card details are processed exclusively by PayPal or Google Play and are never stored on UroConsul servers.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of your country of residence, you have the following rights over your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of your stored health profile and activity data.

Account deactivation and deletion review: Request deactivation of your account and a review of your health-record deletion request, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

8. Data Retention and Deletion Requests

We handle your health data and related guidance records confidentially and retain them only as needed to support continuity of care, meet applicable record-keeping requirements, and protect legitimate rights and interests. Deactivating your account does not automatically delete these records. You may request a review of their deletion using the contact details in section 9, subject to applicable retention obligations.

9. Account Deactivation and Deletion Requests

You can request account deactivation in the app by following these steps:

1. Open the UroConsul app

2. Go to Settings

3. Select "Delete Account"

4. Confirm your request

Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated and your access to the app will end. Deactivation does not automatically delete health records; records may be retained as needed to support continuity of care, meet record-keeping requirements, or protect legitimate rights and interests.

10. Children's Privacy

UroConsul is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a user under 18 has registered, we will promptly delete the associated account and data.

11. Updates to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our platform features, applicable laws, or data practices. Any updates will be communicated by revising the policy version date. Continued use of the app following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
